Introduction of CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) - SERIES I
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is a video camera that can capture images and send the composite video signal certain places. CCTV is often used for surveillance purposes that are commonly found in banks, airports, buildings and even now it is also used in homes.
The first CCTV was installed by German company Siemens AG at Test Stand VII in Peenemünde, Germany in 1942, was used to observe the launch of V-2 rocket.
Equipment CCTV Systems
The main equipment in the CCTV operating system is as follows:
1) Camera
CCTV cameras work as a moving image recording devices (video) and convert it into a composite video signal. There are several different types of cameras in terms of quality, usage and functions. Each camera will be connected to a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) directly.
There are different types of cameras sold in market are:
i. Dome Camera
ii. Waterproof Camera
iii.Infra Red Camera
iv. IP Camera
v. Stabdard Box Camera and more market

CCTV INSTALLATION METHOD - SERIES III
Last week my students have learned about CCTV installation in residential and office buildings. I have described the early stages of a theory about the introduction of CCTV (Refer entry SERIES I & SERIES II ).
2. Determine the location and area monitoring by CCTV
In this practical project, Dome type infrared camera use. It can produce bright images even at night or in the dark.
Students first identify the equipment required in the installation of CCTV. Specifications for CCTV systems for CCTV installation in residential or office space is accounted for as follows:
i. 1 DVR units (4-channel / 1 BNC output / VGA output 1/1 network port) model
ii. Hard Disk SATA (80Gb)
iii. 4 seed Dome camera
iv. Monitor - can use a computer monitor

SMK practical next wiring project involves the installation of CCTV. Here are the key points in the process of installation of CCTV:
1. Determine the appropriate cable
In this practical project, used CCTV cable is kind of coaxial cable RG59 / 6 series. This is a commonly used standard cable for connection between the CCTV camera and DVR.
while connectors are BNC type connector is used. It connects between the video panel on the DVR and camera types Dome.

2. Determine the location and area monitoring by CCTV
CCTV installation location is determined based on the view distance to be controlled either remotely or close and what to dark or bright. Location setting is very important for the focal point of the area to be in control.
Especially for the installation of CCTV at home, laying on CCTV camera angle under a roof can protect your CCTV camera from rain, wind, and so on. In addition, under the roof of settlements also usually give a better view and easy to pull cable network.

Video cables and power supply separately connect the power supply using a 3-pin plug is connected to a 13A socket outlets.
4. Cable Interest process (Lay-out Cabel)
After defining a CCTV installation, the following are finding attractive entry point for cable RG59 / 6 from outside to inside through the ceiling or conduit routes and so on. Normally the more practical office space is done by pulling the cables on the ceiling. It looks very neat and organized
DVR has a panel that is used to supply power separately.By the cable for CCTV camera power supply should be connected to the supply source closest to the camera location.

5. Placement Monitor and DVR
Monitor and DVR is a complete equipment your CCTV system. Determine which monitor and DVR will be placed side by side to facilitate the process of 'setting' (usually the user will refer to the user is provided by the suppliers of the DVR). It's good to set the DVR box placed hidden especially at home in order to avoid damaging invaders or take the DVR set.
6. Cable & lay-out setting
After placement of the position and location of CCTV cameras and DVR monitor placement, the following is the final process of attracting RG59 cable that connects between the monitor and DVR CCTV. Come full CCTV installation process sets at home or in an office building.Upon completion of the CCTV set in pairs and can be connected to the power supply, then the 'settings' DVR refer to the manual that came be done.

Know the Different Types of CCTV Cameras
Position the camera lens is not visible due to obstruction by a layer dome, makes us not knowing which direction is in focus by the camera.
Vandal proof camera means the camera anti damage. It is made from a material that is designed specifically to protect the camera from any effects of extreme damage.
Level of illumination at night necessitating installation using Infra Red camera. A growing number of infra red dot on the camera, the more clearly the brightness of images captured by the camera.
The cameras send 'discrete video streaming' through UTP cable. Generally, it is equipped with an IP Address. With this IP Camera, we get live information and can access the network from the recording via a LAN / WAN without having to use a converter.
True to its name, this camera is a CCTV camera hidden intended for use where it can not be detected by a particular individual. All kinds of shape, there is nothing like smoke detector, wall clocks, lamps, even bidet.
CCTV cameras, as we already know is a device used for electronic monitoring. To find out the CCTV camera that suits you, at this time my post will talk about the types of CCTV cameras available in the market.
True to its name - Dome Camera - This camera is shaped like a dome. The simple design makes it the most popular type of camera and is often used in CCTV installations, because this camera is very easy to install.
Position the camera lens is not visible due to obstruction by a layer dome, makes us not knowing which direction is in focus by the camera.
This type of camera is suitable for installation in the space (indoor), both in the home or in the office.
Shaped like a box, a camera is often used to good indoor or outdoor installation. This type of camera can also be used for remote surveillance needs. When the installation of the pool with a position can be achieved by hand, preferably in to add a protective, so as to prevent damage to the camera.
Vandal proof camera means the camera anti damage. It is made from a material that is designed specifically to protect the camera from any effects of extreme damage.
The camera is usually for outdoor installation. Bullet shaped camera - a camera that has a design like a bullet.Exterior design protector specifically designed to be able to withstand rain, dust, and extreme temperatures.
Level of illumination at night necessitating installation using Infra Red camera. A growing number of infra red dot on the camera, the more clearly the brightness of images captured by the camera.
PTZ Camera / Speed Dome Camera is a self-contained cameras have zoom lenses up to dozens of times and mechanism pan tilt 'motorservo be fine with that movement. Movement of the camera is not detected by the individual.
The cameras send 'discrete video streaming' through UTP cable. Generally, it is equipped with an IP Address. With this IP Camera, we get live information and can access the network from the recording via a LAN / WAN without having to use a converter.
